She has lived and worked in many countries, which has exposed her to many cultures and different belief systems. Her fascination with the Middle Eastern culture, however, led to her return to Lebanon in January 2010 and spend 10 years there.
Her interest in art started at a young age but it wasn't until 2006 that she picked up the brush and started experimenting with colours. Her fascination with the human cells seen under an electron microscope has inspired the paintings of her first collection "Cell-ebration". It is an invitation to view these beautiful cells from an artist’s unique perspective. To her, we are spiritual beings having a physical experience and once we fully understand and accept this concept, our outlook on life changes dramatically. As a mother of two, she dedicated her first solo exhibition to her youngest daughter, Nadia, who left this life at the age of twenty-three. |
